Donis Avdij admits that he was wrong when years earlier he had refused an offer from Europe and England's ruling champion, Liverpool.
He's in an interview for “Sport1” said it regrets that instead of moving to Liverpool, it signed long-term contracts with the Bundesligla club, Schalke.
My greatest mistake, which I deeply regret, was when I refused a large offer from Liverpool before signing a long contract with Schalken, the heart club. I also had an offer from Real Madrid”, Avdij said on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old Kosovo representative's attacker was recently part of the Scottish team Hearts, while in Bundesliga with Schalken has scored two goals in nine matches. Schalke freed him because of his disobedience. He lent it twice, once to Sturm Graz in Austria and once to Rhodes, Holland. Willem II also played for the Netherlands, and a career has been held in Turkey at Trabznospore.
He says he has accepted several offers, which he says will be considered calmly.
“Scotland was a new environment for me, but it was worth the experience. I'm sure I'm gonna find a club that wants me. Currently there are some major European league clubs that are interested in me, but I will quietly decide on my future”, Avdij said.
For Kosovo, Avdij has scored two goals in six presentations.
