Hoti meets with British ambassador, promises rule of law, fighting corruption

Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti hosted the United Kingdom Ambassador to Kosovo, Nicholas Abbott, today who thanked him for the permanent support this friend country has given Kosovo.
During this meeting, Prime Minister Hoti argued that the Kosovo government is currently focused particularly on managing the COVID 19 pandemic and on economic recovery. He also said the Kosovo government is fully committed to working for rule of law and fighting corruption.
As for the question of dialogue with Serbia, Prime Minister Hoti said dialogue would develop based on clear principles stemming from the Constitution of Kosovo. So, he followed, we engage in an agreement that would resolve all open issues with Serbia and result in mutual recognition.
Welcoming Prime Minister Hoti for the new task, British Ambassador Nicholas Abbott said the United Kingdom will continue to support Kosovo institutions as partners in joint projects aimed at developing Kosovo, strengthening democracy, rule of law, economy and merityocracy in recruiting.
Prime Minister Hoti and Ambassador Abbott agreed that the independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo are unprecedented.
