Greece resents Kosovo flag, releases SEECP meeting

The work of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Southeast European Co-operation Process (SEECP), which Kosovo holds this year, has continued.
Works were opened by Victory MP Pacolli Dalipi, chairman of the SEECP Central Commission, who expressed deep gratitude for the participating parties in this virtual meeting.
She said this conference will serve us further, in promoting good neighbourly relations and strengthening and deepening regional co-operation.
After the changes made in her agenda and approval, Mrs. Pacolli Dalipi presented priorities for 2019-2020, where he singled out the need for membership of Western Balkan states in the European Union, stability and economic development, as well as the importance of deepening communication and inter-member states.
MP Pacolli Dali also cited the need for deepening co-operation in the field of culture, tourism and art, which, according to her, culture, art and tourism unite societies, cities and states.
She also proposed establishing the General Secretariat headquarters in Pristina, as according to her, all neighbouring countries own one of other regional organisations. She said Kosovo has adequate geographic position and is located in the heart of Southeast Europe, good transportation links with all member states, so as such, according to Mrs. Pacolli Dalipi, the headquarters in Pristina, would serve not only Kosovo, but the entire region.
Representatives of the participating countries agreed, in principle, to this proposal, however, demanded that Kosovo send a detailed official document on technical and container terms.
After a broad discussion, the countries participating in the conference approved the report
and the KP resolution, thus paving the way for discussion of the amendments in the Final Declaration and work programme for this year.
Thus, the participants reviewed ten amendments for which needed changes were proposed. The consensus on the final Draft-Declaration was reached by the delegations, which will be voted in on June 24, 2020, at the meeting of the mayors / the plenary session.
In addition to the final Draft-Declaration, Draft-Raporti and Draft-Resoluta of the General Commission for Social Development, Education, Research and Science, which Bulgaria led (long Kosovo chairman 2019/2020).
It also became the choice of general commission candidates for 2019/2020.
It was decided next year that Kosovo will head the two general commissions:
1. General Commission for Economy, Infrastructure and Energy
2. The General Commission for Social Development, Education, Research and Science.
While the General Commission for Security, Internal Affairs and Justice will lead Turkey.
Representatives from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Turkey participated, as well as Council for Regional Co-operation representative (RCC).
Greece issued the meeting, because, as it was said, the establishment of symbols of the Republic of Kosovo in documents (the Parliament's dialogue) and the non-information of the word Republic of Kosovo.
