We have always known that exercise has great health and physical benefits.
Researchers collected information on the mental state and physical behavior of 1.2 million Americans. In the study, which was later published in The Lancet, participants were asked how often they had felt unwanted because of depression, stress, or emotional issues.
They were also asked about their physical activities and economic status. They could choose from over 70 types of physical activity, including running, mowing, cycling, child care, weight lifting, and doing household chores.
Researchers found a positive connection between physical activity and self-reported happiness. In terms of secularists, people who were more active were also happy, writes the daily health post, broadcasts the news.net. Less active or inactive participants tend to feel weak 53 days a year, while those regularly felt good for 18 days less on average.
What about economic status?
To report the same happiness levels brought by being active, you will have to earn much more money.
On a final note, it seems that sports and social activities involving association can also have a more positive effect on emotional health than on lonely ones. Gystra, gymnastics, and cycling were shown to have a very positive effect on mental health, although they are not classified as team sports. /ln
