According to foreign media, the incident followed up after tensions between the two sides, and this is the first deadly crash in 45 years.
The Indian Army initially reported on three soldiers killed Tuesday, adding that both sides suffered casualties. Later, however, a number of wounded soldiers died of injuries.
In this case, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in India accused China of violating an agreement reached last week, which envisions respect for the Commission on Current Control (LAC) in the Valley of Galwan.
For the first time in the last 40 years, soldiers of both nuclear powers, who together number almost 3 billion people, have faced the military border between them, causing dozens of casualties.
The exchange of fire, which, according to sources, took the form of a small battle, has caused at least 20 casualties in the Indian soldiers, while Chinese authorities give no figures on their losses, even though it is said that the victim was on both sides.
