Masks are becoming increasingly common in public. But if you regularly wear a mask for your face, it is vital to make sure that it is clean whenever you use it, otherwise you risk infection. Lavenderia Service Executive Director Dean Dimitrov explains how to effectively wash your repetitive facial mask:
Wash your mask whenever you use it
If you buy or make a mask for your face, you should clean it regularly. Although the purpose of the facial mask is to protect others from yourself, the face mask needs to be washed. If you do not wash it, you risk germs and bacteria in your facial mask, which can cause you to get sick or cause stains in areas where your mask rests on your face.
The best way to wash it.
The best way to wash your face mask is to put it in the washing machine and add some disinfectant points. You have to do this whenever you use it, just to be sure.
You can wash it with your hands
If you don't have time to wash in a washing machine, then you can wash the mask with your hands. Fill a clean container with hot water, and drop some cleaning points and start rubbing your mask. Throw water as much as possible, and make sure you clean your mask well for five minutes. Then wash your mask with cold water, and let it dry completely.
You have to wear more than two masks
Having two masks for your face means that you will always have a spare when the other one is washed, so it is worth investing in a package.
