Wessel: Restricting Legal Measures Against Causes of Violence Against Women

Chairman The PDK, Kadri Wessel, has visited the Centre for Protection of Victims and Prevention of Trafficking in Human Beings.

Today, I visited the Centre for the Protection of Victims and Prevention of Trafficking in Human Beings to be interested in the disturbing phenomenon of violence against women who grew up during the pandemic and to express appreciation and gratitude for the great contribution this center makes.

We, all of us, should increase solidarity and care for victims of violence, as well as call on state institutions for more attention to women threatened by violence. Legal measures against women's causers of violence should also be tightened and increased citizen sensitivity to prevent and denounce any form of violence.
