The Columbia University” has organised a debate on Kosovo's future, dialogue with Serbia, the collapse of Kurti Government, on the border correction issue. American leader David Philips has led the debate, while participants have also been expert on the Western Balkans Daniel Serer, head of the Vjosa Osmani Assembly and head of AAKA Ramush Haradinaj.
At the end of the debate, the tax issue and the collapse of the Kurti government have caused Kosovo's Parliament Speaker, Ramush Haradinaj, to clash with the head of the AAK, following statements of the latter that “Vjosa Osmani and Albin Kurti have fallen in love with themselves”, reports the Express.
Such a statement has taken place by Haradinaj as he commented on the fall of Kurti Government only after 50 days of government and the way incumbent Prime Minister Kurti acted with the removal of the tax without receiving anything in return.
This leadership is not visionary and this logic of Kurti and Osman is not visionary, they have fallen in love with themselves and their ideas”, Haradinaj has said.
He says such a statement bases on how quickly the government led by Albin Kurti has fallen, which according to AAK's leader SCHA had never happened before in Kosovo's history as a state.
“It never happened that the Government would lose its legitimacy for 50 days”, Hardinaj added, saying he regrets that such a situation has occurred but says it is reality that it must be learned from mistakes.
According to him, it would not be necessary for Kurt to work alone and exclude others, since he points out unity is needed since it comes to the fate of Kosovo.
To such a statement, Kosovo Assembly Speaker Vjosa Osmani has reacted sharply, saying the statement about “to people who fall in love with themselves” is an insult and that insult is neither argument nor test.
I don't want to talk about the substance of what Mr. Haradinaj said. But only for his comment about people falling in love with themselves. I believe insults are neither evidence nor arguments and there's nothing visionary about insulting people even if they were your political opponents, said Vjosa Osmani.
While Minister Blerim Reka has responded to Haradinaj's tax and stance issue, saying the tax was only a move, until it says the reciprocity measure is a foreign policy strategy.
