Acting Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has reacted after the news published in some media that has been called into sources written that the Constitutional Court has ruled in favour of the president's decree, through which it allows the LDK to form the new government together with partners, writes Periscopi.
Haxhiu through a Facebook post, has attacked the Constitutional Court over the still unconfirmed decision, saying she has no right to set deadlines for the government's mandate for forming.
Albulen Hadziu's full reaction:
Citizens are absolutely entitled to anger. On the one hand, it says “don't interfere with the independence of Court”, and on the other hand, their first orientations circulates to some, including the media!
How can the act and way of voting be known without the Court being made public?
If so, then this is not the independence of the Court. Such a decision is an act of prejudice for Thaci's interests and those who have lost elections and have been abandoned by the people.
The court in its mandate, there is only the interpretation of the Constitution and not its amendment. Constitutional amendments can only propose the government, the president and 1/4 of MPs, but then they must be voted in by the Parliament.
Under the Constitution, there is no deadline for the mandate. The court cannot set a deadline. This would destroy constitutional order and democracy.
This will reverse the will of the people!
