Contrary to what everyone believes, gray is not caused by various situations of stress or parents of teenage children. A new study conducted by Texas University, Medical Center, has found that there are two essential proteins of hair growth and pigmentation. Which one's the best? They're random proteins.
The study was published in Geenes & Development, and it was supposed to examine various types of tumors by first testing them in rats. What was finally discovered was the causes of gray hair and the factors that lead to baldness. Turns out: CROX20 is a protein that affects skin cells and operates in different areas (the reason for hair loss in places). The other protein "cumbersomely" also affects these cells to curb the action of what is called the SCF gene. The loss of CROX20 leads to bald hair loss, while the loss of the SCF gene leads to gray hair.
Although researchers have not determined what causes the loss of the power of these two proteins in addition to genetics, they concluded that stress does not, in effect, affect the decline of their power. In a press release, study director Dr. Lu Le, said: “With this new information, we hope to find out in the future what are the factors to do what is necessary to correct these cosmetics. ”
