The Parliamentary Commission on Health has held meetings during Tuesday, while it was also discussed in the case of the young man from Gjilan, Agon Musliu, for which case, deputies of the Vetevendosje Movement have said they support a parliamentary investigation if necessary.
LVV MP Fitim Uka said that meetings of the Health Commission have always turned into a political discussion.
We invite the prosecution to handle the case and address it with priority. We've asked other committee colleagues to request detailed reporting from the Ministry of Health, so even the prosecution can bring to justice those who have the neglect market in this case. As the last move in the event this may be insufficient, we as the deputy of the Vetevendosje Movement support even a parliamentary investigation into the issue”, Uka said.
Otherwise, MP Uka said before reporters also that the Constitutional Court has found no violations the Ministry of Health has committed with the introduction of measures to restrict movement during the pandemic.
None of the measures proposed by the Ministry of Health are considered anti-unconstitutional by this Constitutional Court decision, so whether the provision for time-to-day circulation is prohibited. Banning circulation in addition to the essential need, baning inflows from certain municipalities, and stopping vehicle flow, and maintaining protective means, masks and gloves. All measures and restrictions are constitutional and are in full compliance with human rights. With a proposal to form a parliamentary Commission that would investigate Agon Musliu's case, the Democratic Party of Kosovo appeared hours ago.
Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Eliza Hoxha during a media conference announced that the parliamentary group The PDK has proposed establishing a parliamentary investigative commission to clear up the Agon Musliu case.
While the Vetevendosje Movement is among the first parties to have supported forming such a commission.
And through a symbolic action, the Social Democrat Party has also requested an independent investigation into the case of Agon Musliu.
