Republic of Kosovo Health Minister Arben Vitita hosted the Japanese Embassy's position in Pristina today, Mitsunori Ogasawara.
At this meeting Ogasawara said Japan sees the COVID-19 crisis as a crisis of human security, and to that end wants to help Kosovo cope.
To that end, Japan has allocated $718,200 to the people of Kosovo via U NICEF”, Ogasawara said.
He announced that Japan provides medical, sanitation, and sanitation products as well as opportunities for continued education for children.
It is important that our contribution facilitate an inclusive society based on the idea of human security and that no one lags behind”, he said.
Minister Arben Vitita has announced the workload at the Japanese Embassy in Pristina regarding the management of the Covid-19 pandemic, where international contributions, along with the organisation of Kosovo institutions, health professionals and citizens, have contributed to success in managing pandemic in Kosovo to be vulnerable.
He thanked the state of Japan for the support it has given to Kosovo's health system in building capacities, providing equipment for health institutions, and supporting the fight against David-19.
At this meeting by Mitsunori Ogasawawara, it became known that Japan is currently making every effort to develop drugs against Coddy-19 and has decided to expand clinical research on some of their types through co-operation with the international community, with which therapy will also be assisted in Kosovo in the event there is a new event wave of Covid-19.
