Enhanced Park for Innovation and Training in Prizren, up to 12m euros expected to be invested

We're all gathered today for the training park in Prizren. I am happy no matter what the pandemic has brought about. Co-operation between Kosovo and Germany has a long-standing” connection.
We're taking a big step towards information technology. We have Prizren with an ancient tradition, now we are bringing in a youth innovation”.

German Ambassador to Kosovo Christian Heldt said he feels happy and proud that an important information project for Kosovo's young is being realised.
The German ambassador stressed that professionalised and employed young people will emerge from here, as he said in Kosovo the biggest challenge remains employment.
Among other things, Heldt argued that this project will affect the Kosovo economy as well.

Days ago, the government made the decision that the 40 hectares area, where there were formerly German KFOR barracks, now passes on to the association “The ITP Prizren”, which will develop the German-Kosovo Training and Innovation Park.
The park will work for economic development, entrepreneurship, education and research. Special attention will be given to applied science, technology, agriculture, environment, creativity and culture.
