Ahmeti warns measures to reduce cars in capital

Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has warned that the Pristina municipality will take a series of measures to reduce the number of cars from payments and even close some roads.

He did so because during the time Pristina was in quarantine, a small number of traffic cars were seen in the capital, which was also welcomed by citizens of authorities.

“After the pandemic, as a municipality, we will have a series of measures to reduce the number of cars from payments to the centre, the most expensive parking lotes until the closure of certain roads on weekends, as well as the permanent closure of several roads. We will invest even more in public transport, cyclical and green. There is no other way for us. We're a beautiful city to be destroyed by squirrels. #rrip”, Ahmeti has announced.
