Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti says that in line with the pandemic situation, it is time for Kosovo to intensify the reopening.
Among other things, Ahmeti says the gradual reopening of nests and gradual reopening of schools (cateries 1-5 initially) should take place, as well as removal of movement schedules.
Ahmet writes:
We've been the first to ask for retributive measures on March 6th, and we're right.
Today, we are demanding that measures be revised accordingly. I'm not a doctor, but these measures are already incompatible with the situation, and they're not being respected by citizens of commitment, nor are they possible to be implemented by police and inspectors.
It is time for Kosovo to intensify the reopening and act according to the epidemiological situation.
The focus of the measures must be:
A defense of people endangered by chronic diseases and those over 60 years old;
Isolation of positive cases and potential contacts;
The rules for closed spaces, especially in gastronomial;
Ration of nests and gradual reopening of schools (class 1-5 initially);
Like primary protection from an eventual explosion;
Remove motion schedules;
) remove the quarantine from the Student Center and return to binding proselytization;
Open borders with states that have no epidemiological crisis with priority Albania.
Stage two doesn't make sense to last two weeks.
Economic losses are already huge. We'll need creative ideas to deal with the losses that will last for months.
While we as municipalities must quickly move toward cleaner cities with fewer squirrels and less pollution.
