Former world champion Rose Namayunas has retired from confronting Jessica Andrade, who had to develop within the UFC 249 event.
According to reports, Namayunas has given up the face after two of her family members died as a result of the Coronobrus.
“Rose Namajunas has withdrawn from UFC 249 because two people in her family died of coronary. Her hopes are to return to the cage as soon as possible. But now we ask people to respect their privacy”, said the warrior's manager, Brian Butler.
The 27-year-old American is currently second in the UFC ranking in the category of up to 52kg. UFC is the biggest mixed Macial Arts series.
The UFC 249 event was confirmed just earlier this week, after the difficulties that were caused for the sport by the coronary pandemic. The event must be held on April 18th, but the country is not yet scheduled.
The main war will be Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaething, who replaced Khahabb Nurmagomedov.
