VV's Abrashi: If other parties make government, Kosovo goes into crisis vortex

Vetevendosje Movement MP Artan Abrashi has said that the position of this political subject after passing the no-confidence motion on the government is that the country should necessarily go to extraordinary new elections.

With the post motion situation in mind, I think the solution is just elections. Once the government falls, it's democratic... The elections are held to win. For the sake of the stability of institutions we must refer to the example in which the [other political parties] have been called earlier that the winner has the right to establish institutions”.

Abrashi in Klan Kosova has said that if other parties founded the new government without elections, this would send Kosovo into the whirlwind of the crisis.

“These are games that don't make sense. We had the Prime Minister. Kurti is twice in line as a politician enjoying the greatest confidence in the Republic of Kosovo. It is a vain game to legitimize the struggle to rob power. Reasons from PAN and LDK in this conglomerate can't be called anything other than trying to usurp power”.

Abrashi has said that in other cases when there has been a successful no-confidence motion against the Government, the Assembly has been distributed immediately.

After the successful passage of the motion, given previous cases, concrete examples of how to get out of such a situation are. All it takes is to follow those examples. The president is entitled to announce the extraordinary elections under Article 82.2. We are in a pandemic situation and immediately after this situation the President must reflect on his constitutional competencies and announce the” elections.
