Home Affairs Minister Jalal Svecla's task leader has said that the removal of the fences is taking place after they are unnecessary.
There is no reason to put fences between institutions and citizens, especially in a country like Kosovo, where citizens love their state and are interested in law enforcement. Barrieries are unnecessary, as Kosovo is not a dictatorial regime where the government is against the people and Kosovo Police is a highly trusted and professionally enough institution to ensure the security and order needed in the country, the mission for which it is assisted, and from the presence of international institutions and KFOR”, Svecla said during the visit he made to workers who during today have cut off the sieges of the main MPBAP object.
Svechla has said there has been a time when government objects and governments have had separate walls, and that in the coming days, the removal of surrounding government facilities will continue to be returned to citizens to public spaces, sidewalks, parks and gardening.
Meanwhile, during the past week the fences have been removed from several other MPB facilities as well as the Kosovo Government object.
