Xhelal Svecla, incumbent Minister of Internal Affairs's duty during a news conference, has said Kosovo President Hashim Thaci violated the state protocol Tuesday by going to Albania, not announcing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Svecla has said President Thaci has to show why he violated the state protocol, while asking Pacolli to immediately prove his whereabouts.
I was later informed by the border police that Kosovo's president has crossed the state border shortly before 18 o'clock in Albania. The same was back shortly after 7:00 p.m., he said.
He said that under state protocol law any movement of president outside borders must be communicated to MPJ
When the president's escort is stopped, it is found that the president is in the second car. He was sitting in the first seat against the rules. The police also, because of black glass, couldn't see if there were other people. For clarification, under the State Protocol Law any movement of the president outside the borders must be communicated to MPJ. This has not been announced. Let me explain that until now, we have confirmation that Thaci has been accompanied by Pacolli, but such a scenario if it comes true would undermine the entire Republic and show disrespect for the law bodies. It's criminal offense”, he said further.
He has said that if the report proves true that with Thaci in Kosovo, MP Behgjet Pacolli has entered, police will take measures against AKR leader.
If Kosovo's deputy was in the president's car with shown behavior, he knowingly violated the rule of quarantine. We ask the president to answer why he has decided to pass the state protocol, while Pacolli is asked to immediately express where he is or if he appears in public at a certain moment within the territory, police will take the first measures by law”, Svechla has declared.
