The Ministry of Health in Albania has updated the situation by Coronavirus, suggesting that the number of affected persons has gone to 377, of which 21 have passed away.
The new cases in the last 24 hours were 16, while 116 individuals, 33 percent of the infected, have been cured in total so far, writes A2 CNN.
Full statement from the Health Ministry:
In the last 24 hours, 175 suspected persons have been tested, of which 16 new cases of COVIDD-19 have been confirmed.
So far, 2571 suspected cases have been tested, and they are confirmed positive with COVID-19, 377 cases.
11 health personnel have also been tested and all negative results from COVID-19.
The battle with this disease has so far lost 21 citizens, despite extraordinary efforts of health personnel.
Over the past 24 hours, another 12 patients have been added to the list of cures, bringing the number of cures from COVID-19 to 116. So about 30% of those affected so far result in healing.
We're informing you that there's 66 of them at the current effective service. Five of them are in intensive therapy.
At COVIDD 2 “Shefqet Ndkoqi”, 7 patients are in total. Six patients are in intensive therapy.
73 patients are currently receiving service in two hospitals.
The map of those affected by COVID-19 expands to Tirana, Durres, Fier, Has, Berat and Shkodra.

As you can see, we have an increase in the number of cases mainly in Shkodra, Tirana and Has, which shows once again a lack of respect for social distance and measures of infection control that the Ministry of Health follows to recommend daily in public communications.
