The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has unanimously nominated it for the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kosovo, prof. Dr. Rame Likaj, the right man, when Kosovo education, even at this time the pandemic is facing serious difficulties, not just technical.

Professor Rame Likain I know from the 1990s, when he was a student at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Pristina University. At that time, since I was the head of the magazine “Awakening”, many successful young people were gathered to this magazine. Lykaj ran one of them, a distinguished Student, probably among the only with all ten. And to preserve that average, at that time and in that direction, those who have gone through professional and educational filters know what that means. Likewise, in cultural and educational activities held within the early youth initiatives Ram Likaj, with its results and modesty, had become a model for young people, as a diligent scholar but also remembered as a great former student, with many rewards both within the school, where he carried out his secondary but also abroad, national level.

But who really is Ram Likaj?

Likaj was born on March 24, 1971, in Decani, where he completed his primary and secondary schooling. He attended university studies on three degrees, such as basic studies, magistrates and Physiology at the University of Pristina Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. For outstanding success in the studies, he won the grant “distinguished”.

Likaj, at the University of Pristina, works for 26 years in a row, specifically at the Meccronica Department of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He has also participated in many international scientific conferences and projects, while there are published authors and co-authors dozens of scientific works and university texts, of dyspensa. There are also dozens of research and education reports published.

During his academic career, he has performed some professional and teaching specialisations, such as in Germany, Italy, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, etc., and has participated and represented Kosovo in many international conferences and workshops.

Since 1999. Likaj has worked on international projects in Kosovo and the Balkan region, related to the field of education and professional skills for organisations such as these: The European Commission, European Training Foundation, GIZ, LuxDevelopment, KfW, WUS Austria, Kulturcorts etc.

Being proven in the professional field, and men of high integrity, Likaj, in his academic career he also performed these tasks: Chairman of the Council for Education and Professional Training, 2015, Republic of Kosovo Co-ordinator for assessment ISA 2016, Kosovo Co-ordinator for the Turin Process, 2015-2016, State Co-ordinator for the assessment of the 2010-2016 Strategic Education Plan, MAST Co-ordinator for Development of Strategic Education Plan 2017-2021, member of the University of Pristina Senate “Pristina”, member of the South East Europe network for the training of educators and professional training coaching since 2003, Turin, Italy, part of the Development Group 2021.

In addition, Likaj, being an education expert, was also part of the Council for Education and Professional Training for two mandates, August 2006-2017, member and chairman of the Experts' Panels for Qualifications and Institution Discretion, National Qualification Authority, Minister of Education, Science and Technology Adviser 2015-2017, Kosovo Prime Minister for Education. Ramush Haradinaj, 2018-2019 etc.

Hence, those who know him in the near future, Prof. We ran Likain, as friends, colleagues, teachers, students, people of his academic profile, they know he's the man I've chosen for minister of education. Political veles are useless, as if in the name of <x0 <x0-expertitis”, which try to label Rame Likaj's professional and intellectual career.
