Wei got her first medical aid at a local clinic that classified her as a flu case and then she got back to work. Eight days later she was hospitalized as doctors tried to find the connection between Mrs. Wei and other marketers. The cases began to increase, however, many who showed these symptoms turned to similar clinics where Mrs. Wei went.
Wei Guishian is among the first 27 quarantined cases of COVID-19 since December 2019; cases that sounded the alarm for spreading this disease, however, such an alarm was put under control by Chinese authorities. One of the doctors was sharply criticised by the authorities on the charge of “the spread I said of the heel” as the number of infected was increasing.
The Chinese government has so far denied accusations on its response to the epidemic explosion, saying that this response was quick and consistent at the starting point, by buyin' the next “for” states to prepare for the risks posed by COVID-19.
