The renowned Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli, has held a concert in the empty cathedral of Duwomo di Milan.

As never before, the great square in front of the famous church in Milan was completely empty, but this did not stop the grand tenor to send love on this Catholic Easter day.

The 61-year-old singer was granted permission to enter the cathedral of Milan by Giannatonio Borgonovo and the chairman, Giuseppe Sala, to perform what has been called music for hope.

Before the performance, Bocelli was photographed in the cathedral spa breathing, wearing a black suit. He was just an instrumentist, Emmanuele Vianell, but thousands of eyes saw and heard live through YouTube.

The tenor was without an audience due to Italian blockades and government regulations for the situation created by COVIDD-19, but images were broadcast live on his YouTube channel.
