Two municipalities in North observe Serbia's laws, Kurti silent

There two municipalities -- North Mitrovica and Zvecan -- were quarantined, and the way this happened sparked numerous reactions in Kosovo.

But, however, incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti did not react, he spent the day quietly, as his party officials, all day long, took part in publishing a suspicious poll that this party has been convincingly brought to other subject by vote.

Instead, Kurti let him speak to Interior Minister Jedal Svechla's taskman, who wrote on Facebook that he is in contact with the mayors of the above - mentioned municipalities, but did not reveal who gave the order, or who made the decision to quarantine these two cities.

All the responsible institutions are conveying the situation indefinitely so that their response is consistent with the”, Svecla wrote among other things.

President Thaci reacted to the situation. He said that what has happened in the north is the irresponsability of the Kosovo government over its citizens and sovereignty, writes the news.net.

In this context, the president's call was for the government to carry out its duties against citizens.

The whole day coincided with harsh reactions, mainly from opposition and citizens, while around 8:00 p.m., Health Minister Arben Vitita appeared at a media conference to clarify the situation.

He said the decision on quarantine of the two northern municipalities was taken by the ministry he heads, as well as the reports, as well as the reserves to which other government officials before the year spoke, showed the opposite.

“By law, is alone IF I can make decisions in relation to such situations. The MSH has been in co-ordination with relevant municipalities. And in coordination with them, the decision was made by the Health Ministry. And that's the only true”, Vitia said among others.

Reactions also came from the chairman of The PDK, Kadri Veselin, the initiative's Fatmir Limaj and other clean officials, including the Democratic League of Kosovo.
