With the motto “Rri in shpi”, KOK marks International Sport Day for Development and Peace

Kosovo's Olympic Committee will mark April 6th International Sports Day for Development and Peace, a day adopted by the United Nations Organisation and the International Olympic Committee.

The UN Assembly, April 6, 2013, had announced the International Sports Day for Development and Peace, connecting April 6th, 1896, the opening day of the Modern Olympic Games held in Athens, Greece.

In contrast with past years, this time, the spread of the pandemic of the Coronobius Covid 19 and the measures taken by the National Institute of Health will be marked by homes.

Under the motto “Rri n eshpi”, “do Sport”, “enjoy”, KOK wants from all athletes, sports contributors, sports federations, fans and citizens, to create photos and videos of white paper.

KOK will also make the selection of better photos and videos. The three best videos (video should not be longer than 30 seconds), will be rewarded with 300, 200 and 100 Euros, while the three best photos with 150 Euros, 100 Euros and 50 Euros.

The top 10 photos and videos are selected by the KOK, and the first three countries are selected according to the number of Licé, following publication on KOK pages.

The deadline for sending photos and videos is April 6, 2020. EU KOK members, KOK staff are exempt
