Kurti's nominated “comer director” who approved 30 trips and received 18 euros of illegal wages

Albin Kurti's government has named Enis Berisha presiding and director at the Acting Board of central public company <x) U.S.

Two years ago for Berisha the media reported a misuse of his task.

Berisha at the time when he was general director of the Regulatory Railways Authority (ARRH) requirements for official travel abroad approved, which constituted a clear conflict of interest. After a series of violations, he is a member candidate of the Kosovo Board of Telecom.

The newspaper “Voice” has provided data on how Berisha had approved himself over 30 requests for official travel abroad, which amount to about 23 thousand euros. One of the documents even shows that Berisha had applied for official travel to Brussels in February 2016, since the request would have to be approved by the board chairman. But since the institution at the time had no board, Berisha had approved his request without receiving approval from other competent institution officials. “Mby 30 visits abroad by the former director of the Railways Regulatory Authority since 2014-2016 have cost the budget over 23 thousand euros”, sources have said.

The media also reported earlier on a series of violations of former ARH director Enis Berisha. This aside from the principal's salary for two years and seven months has been paid as a member of the board of this institution, though the board has not been operational.

The monthly salary of the Board member has been 490 euros, while in total during that period Berisha has received about 18 thousand euros illegally.

But Berisha's benefits have not been completed here, as he has received the principal's salary even three and a half months after his contract was completed. He has concluded his contract on July 15, 2016, but has continued to hold this post until November 1st, 2016. Only for these three and a half months has the former director of the ARH been enriched with no less than 4865 euros.

Because of these allegations of misusing “Voice” has also provided a document in which evidence is that the Kosovo Police Economic Crimes Unit in 2017 has launched investigations into Enis Berisha on these issues.
