Former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has welcomed new key agreement between Kono STT NTSO-E, by the Regional Group of Europe, through which energy independence from Serbia is possible to Kosovo and independent operation as the Regulatory Zone, within the Kosovo-Albania Regulatory Block.
He in a Facebook post writes that for two years as prime minister of the country has worked closely and carried out dozens of working meetings, away from publicity, with energy institutions and strategic partners, in particular the US and Germany, to achieve this day.
“Today is a big day in the energy field and full independence from Serbia with the formalisation of the new Locking Agreement between KO STT NTSO-E, from the continental Regional Group of Europe, enables Kosovo energy independence from Serbia and independent operation as the Regulatory Zone, within Kosovo- Albanian re”, Haradinaj wrote.
Haradinaj has thanked representatives of Kosovo institutions, German Ambassador to Kosovo Christian Heldt, US Embassy in Pristina, German Development Bank - KfW, USAID and all the other performers that were part of this journey, which today became stories of success.
