Foreign government has been involved with hackers to steal the coronary vaccine.

Z. FBI Assistant Director Tonya Vogoretz told participants in an online panel organised by the Aspen Institute that the FBI had recently seen hackers supported by foreign states tracking around a series of health care institutions and research institutions.

“We have certainly seen intelligence activities and a number of interventions in some of these institutions, especially those who have publicly identified themselves as doing research work for COVID“, she said.

Vogoretz said it is understandable that institutions working for promising treatment or a possible vaccine publicly announce their work.

However, she said, the sad side is that this makes them an objective for other states that are interested in amassing precise details about what is being done and perhaps even stealing intellectual property data from these institutions, writes Dyt.

Vogoretz said hackers backed by the state have often targeted the bio-farmacetic industry, but said that “certainly has increased during this crisis.

It did not mention specific places or identify targeted organizations.

Ugoretz also did not identify companies targeting the attacks. The FBI did not respond to an emai-il requesting further comments.
