According to Serbian media reports, the person in question was the zero [first patient] patient with Covid-19 in Novi Pazar.
Klan Kosova has tried to contact the deceased's family, but this has been impossible because his close family lives in Novi Pazar. Members of the vast family living in Gjakova have not wanted to talk about this case.
In the meantime, a little more details about this case have been given by Director of Health in Gjakova Ferdinand Kolay in the special edition in Klan Kosova.
“Today in the town of Gjakova is buried a citizen living and operating with his family in Novi Pazar. The deceased has died of the Coronavirus. The Sanitary Inspectorate of the Gjakova municipality in co-ordination with Kosovo's Sanitarian Inspector has made all preparations, and according to the Health Ministry protocol and the bodies responsible for such cases have been performed by the funeral”.
There was a very small number of citizens at the funeral because the deceased's close family doesn't live here. Several members of the wider family circle have attended, but a very small number have been asked in such cases”.
Kolay said she couldn't get much information on this case and I don't know if the deceased had any other accompanying diseases.
The “has been very hard to get accurate information, because close family members don't live here. I've tried contacting members of the broader family circle who have given me some information, but not many details. Of course, there may also be one of his family who is affected by Ovid-19”.
Serbian media have reported that the deceased was 58 years old and changed lives last night. According to these reports, the same has lived in Novi Pazar, where it owns a wide oven network and is of Hasi's origin.
The deceased was infected with coronary in Slovakia and Croatia, where he has been visiting. He has returned to Novi Pazar before Serbia takes measures regarding the prevention of pandemic, so it has not been quarantined for two weeks, according to Serbian media.
