Albanians in America support Yerenelli: Kosovo's future does not depend on Kurti

The lawyer and prominent Albanian-American event, Peter Lumaj, in a proposal for Online Economy, says the Albanian community in the US condemns “attack” on President Trump's envoy.

Lumaj is a prominent lawyer with a media voice and an important activist of the Albanian community in America.

He was a Republican candidate for Secretary of State in Connecticut in 2014 and for Governor Connecticut in 2018.

Lumaj says the Trump Administration one of the top priorities it has for Kosovo is fighting corruption, as well as economic stability.

He has further said that now is the ideal time for the people of Kosovo to solve problems once and for all with Serbia.

The Trump administration, among its priorities for Kosovo, is fighting corruption, is education, is the economic and political stability and prosperity of Kosovo”.

According to him, Greenelli's top priority is American investment, and this should be done after fighting corruption, but also after the stabilisation achieved with the resolution of the conflict between Kosovo and Serbia once and for all.

Lumaj considers the attack against American National Intelligence Director Green as politically motivated.

In Kosovo, the letter is seen as support for the already dismissed prime minister, Albin Kurti.
