The end of May is expected to bring and the opening of the country and the removal of strict measures against the spread of the coronary if the number of infections goes towards aging.
Tourism and Environment Minister Blendi Klosi told the Hour of Night that June is expected to open the tourist season, but adds that tourism will come with new regulations this year due to pandemic.
The figures of a year ago cannot be thought, but Klos says that despite the collapse of this sector, we can see the first positive steps at the beginning of summer.
Chloe: The end of spring will be and the end of strict rules for this pandemic, and June, the beginning of summer will be able to start moving this sector. It will continue to be the hit sector, as long as the vaccine has not emerged it will be very difficult in management. Tourism facilities want to be opened today, but it's the health facilities that prevaluate. It will be June the month we begin to feel the first steps of tourism. But tourism cannot reach 2019 figures. We need to start thinking about tourism with new rules.
Like Albania, we have many elements that make us feel enthusiastic, even though the sector today is completely devastated. The first is the diversification of the tourist offer, besides the sea we have the potential for mountain tourism, natural tourism, cultural heritage sites. We also rely heavily on Albanians in the region. Opening borders will create conditions for tourists from Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia. Being with family tourism, we are able to reactivate faster.
During the tourist season, the southern country is not only a destination of vacationers but also seasonal workers. But the minister says it is still early to start transporting workers' staff capital.
Chloe: Today we are in mid-April, and years at this time very few structures have been active in the beach area. If we can ease the structure of restrictions more, we will make decisions to proceed with establishing new regulations in this hotel. We have adopted with the Ministry of Health a new regulation for the beaches.
