The world is in chaos now. It's really hard to focus on something that doesn't have anything to do with the choreographer, the more we're all trapped in the house in front of the computer or the television. Here is what you can do to relax and reduce anxiety.
1. Talk to your friends and family. Fortunately, we have FaceTime, text messages, e-mails and phone calls. It is very important to share with others how we feel and to realize that we are not alone.
2. Focus on meditation, relaxation, and peace of mind. Apply ten minutes each day to meditate that you can learn through YouTube videos or apps.
3. Do things that make you happy, such as cooking your favorite dish or watching your favorite show.
4. Find new ways to spend time with others. You can talk to FaceTime with your best friend as you start a new show in Netflix, while shopping online or you can play the same game at a distance.
5. Keep yourself busy and take a vacation from the news. Organize the wardrobe, start a new project, and complete the book you have been reading for months.
6. Imitate your online time. Of course, it is important to upgrade with news, but the brain needs rest so it does not overload and panic.
7. Give the day a structure. If you work from home, follow the same routine as normal. Don't work in bed with your pajamas for a week. Sit at the table, and even wear the bra. Take a vacation like any other day and have lunch. Resist the urge to do chores or to work overtime.
