Turkey has confirmed 18 cases with the new coronary, authorities said.
Ankara also extended a flight ban for six other countries, including Britain and the United Arab Emirates, bringing the country's total number to 20, the health minister said.
Authorities did not announce how long this move will last.
Last Wednesday, Turkey became the last major economy, which reported an explosion of coronary.
Since then, the government has taken steps to prevent the spread of the virus through the closure of schools and universities, to hold sports events without spectators, and to prevent flights to many countries.
According to American University Johns Hopkins, more than 87,000 people have been infected outside China, where health authorities say there are 80,860 cases.
Global deaths have also surpassed the number of deaths in China for the first time, as the total number reached 6,513.
The World Health Organization has said that Europe is now the focus of the virus.
Coronavius Sars-Cov-2 was first presented in China in December last year.
