And on Saturday, there has been a progression of the first class (mbalation products) which has been passed under the Kosovo Government decision.
Over a year, Kosovo, after the 2008 tariff was set, has imported raw materials from Serbia worth about 26m euros.
The Kosovo government on Friday has approved the decision to lift the fee for first-grade import from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The decision says that from the middle of 20.03. 2020 will open six border points between Kosovo and Serbia for importing raw materials. As of April 1st, the Kosovo government will issue another decision on imposing reciprocity measures instead of the 100% fee.
The 100 per cent fee was set by the past Kosovo government, former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, in November 2018. Since then, dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia had been interrupted, which was also followed by the ongoing demands of Washington and Brussels on lifting this measure.
