The world-renowned couple, both 63-year-olds, had announced their diagnosis Wednesday, revealing to social networks that after experiencing some body pains and mild fever, they had been tested for the virus and confirmed they were positive.
Hanks had travelled to Australia to shoot a film directed by Baz Luhrmann, describing the life of famous singer Elvis Presley this film, the product of the company KWarner Bros].
Wilson had also made several presentations, including a performance in Sydney, Australia.
Since the diagnosis, Hanks has repeatedly announced fans of his and his wife's health through social media.
On Monday, actor Iris Elba also became the last Hollywood star to be diagnosed with the deadly virus.
