Kosovo police today have conducted a raid on Kosovo Telecom.
Menduh Abazi from Kosovo Telecom to a proposal has said the case concerns a fraud of 105 thousand and 840 euros of a citizen from Northern Macedonia.
The suspect has used forged documents for a contract regarding the delivery of several services.
Kosovo's “Telekom has initiated criminal speculation for alleged fraud, months ago. As soon as we've noticed the suspicion we've invited competent bodies who came and conducted investigations. Today the police have accomplished their part, came and received information. All of this is a job and a job of trying to protect the public company. It's the first time we've initiated such a case and it's too good to come that this has happened very soon, we've been initiativeing and co-operative ourselves. Over 100 thousand euros is the damage to suspected fraud. This happened at the end of last year. The suspect was arrested in Ferizaj, is a citizen of Macedonia”, he has said.
Kosovo's telecom also through a media report has indicated that it has initiated criminal gossip and has invited competent bodies to take over a suspected case of company fraud.
Kosovo's “Telekom, when it has noted that there are doubts about the company's conforming legal obligations, has initiated criminal speculation and has invited competent bodies to deal with the case. The competent organs have responded positively and as a result of their work and their co-operation with us, as far as we have been informed by the media, a person has been arrested. As Kosovo Telekom, we have told the rule bodies that we are open at any time for everything they care about alone and only that the truth can be highlighted”, says Telekom's announcement. /Periscopi/
