For me, it was a special pleasure to see such a high level of professional preparation of the Kosovo Security Force Medicine Battalion. Obey once again the high, professional, medical and logistical capacities of the KSF, which are an example for the Western Balkan region. The KSF is ready to come to the aid of Kosovo citizens, whenever required, in any space of territory of the Republic of Kosovo. It is ready to help all the institutions that are specifically involved in the work, even in the privacy and overcoming of the situation, following the outbreak of Coronavirus. Also, I would like to thank every soldier, officer, deputy officer, general, who are fully engaged in this new, serious situation, but at the same time challenging and sacrificing, but with optimism, with hope and confidence that we will overcome it with the slightest consequences”, President Thaci said.

While KSF commander Nundman Rama has said they have taken all measures and have established the state of Kosovo Security Force readiness.

We're lucky we don't have any of our infected members. We're in contact with everyone. I can say that, I'm hoping and I'm confident we don't need to use our capabilities, but we're in a state of readiness. Any need presented by institutions, but also by citizens, we are available at any time, at any moment, to come to your aid”, Commander Rama has said.

President Thaci has said that after yesterday's visit to KKUK, he has seen today the professionalism and capacity of preparing the Kosovo Security Force.

This raises even more trust, hope, optimism and in me as president of the country, that Kosovo will successfully overcome this challenge. As a state we have enough capacity to deal with the challenge of the Covid19” pandemic, President Thaci has said.

He added that the health of citizens is in the hands of professionals and that the rest of us have to help doctors and all those who are facing the Cavido19 virus, staying at home.
