A painting of Van Gogh was stolen at the Singer Laren Museum in Laren, Holland.
Picture “Lenttuin” or otherwise known “Spring Commander” was created in 1884 and rented by the Groninger Museum.
The museum was closed because of the coronary pandemic. But about 3: 00 a.m. Monday morning, unidentified robbers have broken the glass door and entered, taking only Van Gogh's painting.
According to police, the alarm had been ran and the security protocol also, but by the time police officers arrived at the scene, the thieves had disappeared.
“We are very angry and upset about this serious event” said the director of the Cedar Museum, Evert Van Os, at a press conference where he gave news of stealing the renowned painter's painting.
