Romanian Health Minister Victor Costachre has resigned today, while the coronary epidemic is marking progress in the country, thus affecting a considerable number of health personnel.
He was charged with poor management of the coronary crisis.
“Costache resigned, citing personal and professional reasons”, Prime Minister Ludovic Orban said.
According to the Romanian news agency Agerpres, the prime minister had demanded his resignation, as health staff had complained of lack of equipment and other health materials.
Instead of Costache, the country's prime minister has appointed Minister of Health Nalu Tataru to the post. /Periscopi/
