The wheat import has grown to a large extent. From March 16th to March 22nd, Kosovo has imported 6.2 million pounds of wheat, which is an extremely large amount for the Kosovo market. But this is the result of the large flour consumption being done in Kosovo”, he told RTV Dukagjin, I've got the telegram.
Kosovo Customs spokesman says there is a slight increase in importing other food products, but the trend has not moved much over last year.
We've had imports of products worth about 120m euros, which is almost the same trend as last year's”.
Stavileci speaking of imports from Serbia and Bosnia following the removal of the first class fee has said only one truck with ambalizing products has so far come.
He says, however, that the import of raw materials from Serbia and Bosnia has not been large even before the 100 per cent fee was imposed.
“Only 29m euros has been the annual value of imports of raw materials before the 100 per cent fee, and no major growth of imports from these countries” can be expected, the Adriatic Stavileci said.
