The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, has written a message to his deputies, where it has been made clear that there is no withdrawal from the decision of Headship for the dismissal of the Kurti government.
Mustafa says he has not authorised anyone to speak on behalf of the LDK and will not do so without discussion at party organs.
The decision of Headship and I have not authorized anyone today to start negotiating the motion. I believe you've signed up to continue with the motion vote. No agreement on future governance can be made without negotiating on party bodies”, said Mustafa's message.
On the other hand, he has said the withdrawal of the motion cannot be done technically, as it says that this will not be done by MPs from other parties who have signed it.
Here's his letter:
Honored MPs
The motion cannot be negotiated with the VV today, nor can it withdraw. The LDK has launched this motion with conviction and full consciousness. His appeal would be submission to Vetevendosje and surrender to Prime Minister Kurti.
Even in a procedural way, he can't back down, because, even if we wanted to, the deputies of the subjects who signed him are not backing out.
It's clear the decision of headship and I haven't authorized anyone to open the motions today.
I believe in you, who signed it, that you will vote.
We don't make any arrangements for immediate governance without conversation or co-ordination with you and party bodies.
Respectfully
LDK chairman
Isa Mustafa
