Former Minister of Internal Affairs and Public Administration Agim Veliu has said that the Democratic League of Kosovo will continue today to advance the initiative for the collapse of Kurti Government.
In a telephone conversation with Insider, Veliu has indicated that the reason for the government's collapse is not his dismissal from the position of Minister of Internal Affairs and Public Administration, but, as he stated, “the problem is the biggest”.
I didn't want to deal with claims of Bislem or anyone. We're now in the process of a motion, so that's a process that's going. I believe developments will be defined by the day”, Veliu said.
Asked when the procedures for the government's collapse would continue, Veliu has said that “sot, of course” will continue with the no-confidence motion.
“Of course [ The LDK will continue with the initiative to overthrow the government. Not this week, but today it's going to continue with the motion, of course”, he said.
According to the LDK deputy chairman, even if he recovers himself from the position of Interior Minister and the LDK appoints another figure of this position, “problems will not be reduced”.
“Even if LDK assigns someone else to the position of Interior Minister. The problem is bigger; the fee problem, the virus problem. These are the problems Kurt has to deal with, not with junk. With things that don't add weight”, Veliu said.
I'm not a deadline guide, such conditions: do this, do it. I can only say one: here is not just a problem Agim Veliu, or my dismissal. That's not the point. The problem is much bigger”, he is expressed.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti dismissed Agim Veliun from the position of Interior Minister and Administration on Wednesday.
As a response to this decision by the chief of the executive, the Democratic League of Kosovo, the ruling coalition partner, warned the collapse of the government if Prime Minister Kurti fails to respond positively to its three demands: the search for the LDK, the return to Veliu's position and the removal of the fee.
But, the deputy chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement and current minister of finance and transfers, Besnik Bislim, has declared he will not return to the government.
Bislimi, said today in an interview for EconomyOnline, that Veliu has been the largest coalition opponent, adding that it is better that the ministry that has led Veliu has no minister than to lead him.
A person who has been constantly against the coalition, the minimum of sincerity has been said to be no part of the government. Here, too, it's inconsistent with going back, such an individual turning”, Bislim said.
Prime Minister Kurti has not yet been declared regarding the LDK chairman's writing and requests. /Insider. com
