The British Otorinolaringology Society says that patients who do not display typical signs (the fever or cough) may have a loss of smell or taste.
“We have also identified a new symptom (losing sense of smell and taste) that may mean that humans without other symptoms, but only with the loss of these senses should be isolated”, says Kumar.
Meanwhile, current public health guidelines in England say that a constant fever or cough is the index symptoms of COVIDD-19.
According to Sky News, the new Kumar studies come after two doctors from English hospitals were infected with coronarys while they had not shown coughs and fevers.
