Border correction or Association Plus. These are the two options that have been offered, at the first two-day meeting in Washington, at the meeting between Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Serbia's Aleksandar Vuciq.
Periscope from nearby sources that have been present at the meeting has learned that, among other things, Serbia has not been asked to stop the recognition campaign until June of this year. Also, Periscop has learned, that this very month -- this year's June -- is also the deadline for reaching the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.
The format of talks on the final agreement will be at the level of presidents with teams they will select themselves. The parties have also been offered the opportunity of meeting with US President Donald Trump, but this has been postponed until the period when there may be an agreement between the two sides.
Periscop has learned that at this meeting, Thaci and Vucciki are told that markets that are unwilling to sign will have numerous sanctions from the United States of America.
