Albin Kurti from yesterday is Kosovo's incumbent prime minister. His government was toppled by a no-confidence motion that was initiated by the Democratic League of Kosovo, which in the Assembly received 82 votes for.
The collapse of Albin Kurti by the government was not the only warning during yesterday.
In midnight, Kurti decided to sack his first deputy in government, Avdullah Hoti.
But Hoti's dismissal took place differently than that of Agim Veliu. In its announcement of dismissal, the government did not disclose any reason why Hoti left the post of deputy prime minister.
All that was said in the communiqué last night is that Kurti made a decision to release Avdullah Hot from duty.
The acting prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has made a decision to clear the post of prime minister in office, Mr. Avdullah Hoti”, was the only sentence in the communiqué, where it was also associated with was a document-shaped decision.
The failure to reason on Hoti's dismissal decision has apparently hinted that Kurti could still proceed with LDK ministers' dismissals as long as his government is in office.
Such circumstances did not deny even the LDK leader, Isa Mustafa, who, with a post today, said his party will not remove ministers from the government, but which is in Kurti's will whether he will continue working with them during this emergency situation, or do other actions, just as it did with Avdullah Hoti last night.
“Pass that coalition V The V-LDK has fallen by motion last night with the vote of confidence by more than 2/3 of MPs, remains in the will of the incumbent prime minister, Mr. Kurt, whether I will continue to work with them during this emergency situation until the next government is elected, or I will do other actions, as Mr. Avdullah Hoti from the post of first deputy prime minister last night before midnight”, Mustafa said, among other things.
While Kurt's actions remain to be seen over the coming days, in the government he currently heads as prime minister in office, there are five LDK ministers; Lumir Abdixhiku, Vlora Doshumi, Hykmete Bajrami, Besian Mustafa and Anton Kuni.
We remember, that the collapse of the coalition between the VV and LDK came just after a unilateral dismissal Kurt made to coalition partner Minister Agim Veliu.
Instead of the latter, the task leader is currently Jelal Svecla of the VV, who in the previous term had the MP post.
Kurti government once yesterday became the most short-lived government in Kosovo's history, falling only 51 days after its formation.
