US Senator David Perdue has said that the US should reconsider its presence in Kosovo unless the Kosovo government removes its tax on Serbian and BiH goods.
Perdue on a Twitter post has written that for more than two decades, American forces have helped preserve peace between Kosovo and Serbia.
He says that now with the historic progress made between the two states, it is up to Kosovo to do its part, as well as abolish the tariff imposed on Serbia.
For more than two decades, US forces have helped preserve peace between Kosovo and Serbia. Now, with the progress made historical, Kosovo must do its part and abolish all duties imposed on Serbia. If Kosovo is not fully committed to peace, then the US must reconsider its presence there”, he wrote. /Periscopi/
