Health Minister Arben Vitita, along with Infrastructure and Environmental Minister Lumir Abdixhiku, have held a media conference concerning young people around the Coronobrus. Minister Vitita said there are 1,000 tests in Kosovo at the moment, and that they have ordered another 7 thousand expected to arrive within the week.
“I inform you that by today over 320 samples of COVID-19 have been tested, and 20 of them have been confirmed. There's a thousand more tests and emergency materials being ordered for another 7 grand to come by the end of the week, but we've made additional requests for further tests“, Vitita said.
He has said the situation of 13 patients in the Infectious Clinic is stable, except for the 77-year-old who is getting extra oxygen.
He has said he has also sought help from the foreign embassy for additional equipment.
He said that in public and private hospitals in Kosovo, there are 120 respirators, but none of them have yet to be used. /Periscopi/
