The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, is claiming the dismissal of the country's president, Hashim Thaci, with the findings disclosed that the current president has seriously violated the Constitution at the time he was prime minister.

Kurti is claiming that Thaci has signed a secret agreement with then NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

This agreement, according to the prime minister, upheld the absolute right to veto all future KSF missions in the north, so according to the conclusions issued, Thaci has committed serious constitutional violations, and the procedure for his dismissal must be initiated.

But this deal is not as secret as Kurt is claiming. The current secretary himself had discussed this. NATO, Jens Stoltenrg.

Speaking of the possibility of the Kosovo Security Forces heading north of the country, Stoltenberg had said in February of last year that under the 2013 agreement in Brussels, KSF cannot go north without KFOR's permission.

He even said that such an agreement is in force and should be respected.

“We have an agreement, the 2013 Brussels Agreement, which says the KSF cannot go north without KFOR permission, and that agreement is still valid and must be respected”, Stoltenberg had said in February last year.

Consequently, this agreement was no secret, as was called by Kurti, and it was known in many statements by NATO officials for the KSF mandate in the north.

“Prime Minister Kurti, in the letter sent to President Osmani, has suggested that following the official recognition of the prime minister's office of the Republic of Kosovo, he has requested from the staff of the Prime Minister's Office that, without delay, analyse the contents of this SEKRETE agreement, as well as its constitutional implications, respectively regarding the constitutional requirements specified with Article 20 [The Sovereign Law], Article 18 [Ratification of the International Agreements] and Article 91 [Presidenting President<1> is said in the letter to Osmani.
