Sleep with or without socks, end this dilemma forever.
Some people are accustomed to the idea that socks at home are a must.
But they're divided into two parts when it comes to sleep - some sleeping in socks, others without socks.
Some believe that socking is a way to protect one's feet from cold, but the rest protect them from perspiration.
What is the response of experts? Wear socks at home helps you not only to keep your feet warmer but also to help your heels not to crack.
The cold weather, as it is known, has a profound effect on drying the skin, and that is true of the feet. If you walk barefoot in the house, it causes your skin to dry faster, as it leads to the opening of your heel.
By wearing socks, it creates a barrier between legs and floors, causing the skin of the feet to stay in its moisture.
Other reasons: Warm legs warm the whole body;
The socks make a shield that helps against the pain of the feet;
Legs are cleaner.
In a recent study by “National Sleep Foundation”, published in the Sleep.org, the reasons for sleeping in socks are well enough to have the best, most relaxed body at night.
While the legs are warm, the flow of blood into the veins is easier, sending a sleep signal to the brain.
Since blood vessels are open and warmth is spread throughout the body, then the latter is ready for sleep, experts explain.
Counsel: Use heavy blankets or yorgans to create heat faster.
Use a foot heating pillow before bedtime.
I usually use wool socks, or casher, which provide rapid heating.
I always wear socks at home.
