While the tutor has been arrested by police, a mother of a three-year-old child has been addressed with an open letter to Minister of Education Hykmete Bajrami.
Airena Gashi-Hamdiu has asked the minister to take action against those gardens that allow such cases. She said that these gardens work day and night to pay, so more serious treatment is needed.
Full parent letter:
Open letter to the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, and in particular to Minister Hykmete N. Bajrami,
Please very honored and respected Mrs. Bajrami to take measures as soon as possible regarding private gardens so that those who fail to meet the conditions are closed urgently.
Please don't let many of us experience such events as today the child is beaten in private gardens, please don't let many of them benefit at the expense of the parents who work night and day so that they send you to gardens <x0); you have to have a better, professional staff because that's how they show up, so please, like a mother to be serious about the issue of private gardens in Kosovo.
I know very well that there are cases of security in all of Kosovo unless other parents have evidence to testify, please don't let them practice violence in our children because we're sacrificing too much for them.
Your Honor, I'm telling you again that I'm begging you like a mother you trust a lot because you have children.
I hope on this warrant you'll be aware of this job that's got a lot of parents involved.
With respect,
Gashi Hamdiou
Mother of a 3-and-a-half-year-old boy
